Raleigh, N.C. (April 23, 2020) – 350Solutions has expanded their ISO 14034:2016 Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) accreditation with the addition of Water Monitoring and Treatment technology categories. Water Monitoring and Treatment area allows for the inspection and verification of performance and environmental impacts of innovative technologies as related to technology design, materials, equipment, installation and operations. This new offering compliments the company’s previous verification capabilities of Air Pollution, Clean Production and Processes, and Energy Technology.
“In this time of increased climate change effects, the critical issue of water scarcity demands innovative thinking, so that we can continue to safely and efficiently use and preserve the water sources that we have,” said Tim Hansen, Founder and CEO of 350Solutions. “Understanding the actual impact of a new water monitoring or treatment technology ensures that new innovations are implemented that are, first and foremost, effective as or better than existing technologies at what they are measuring or treating, but also that do it in a more environmentally beneficial way, like using less energy or producing less waste.”
The Water Monitoring and Treatment capabilities means that 350Solutions can verify a wide array of technologies used in industrial, municipal, and commercial applications including those focused on waste water treatment, water monitoring, storm water run-off, and drinking water.
350Solutions accreditation was approved by ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) and includes the ISO/IEC 17020:2012 and the ISO 14034:2016 ETV to be a third-party inspection body.
